Who wants a PPX

Just wondering which current, or possibly future Walther owners are excited to hear of the introduction of the PPX, and why.

What is it that interests you about this new PPX?

The weapon has been under discussion for a spell in the PPQ section, for lack of a better place, for some time; that thread is here ...

https://www.waltherforums.com/forum/p...lther-ppx.html

... and will provide folks who haven't seen it with a chance to take a look at the new Walther.

Just for clarification, I started this thread in the hopes of hearing specifically from people who are planning on purchasing a PPX.

It seems to me it's like a Mercedes C class which gets you into the brand at a budget price.

I am intrigued. Like most, I'm curious to see how it will balance economy and quality. I don't see it replacing my P99. Most importantly, I highly favor the paddle magazine release, which the PPX does not have.

I will get one if it feels like a quality piece. The P22, PK380, and SP22 have been disappointment to me. The low cost makes me worry. I hope that the PPX and PPK22 feel like solid guns.

FYI, I own 9 walthers so only hold them to their historically high standards.

As an owner of two PPS's, a P22, and two P99's I am not interested in it at all. The grip looks like a cow hoof or something and it is not striker fired it appears...
