Collector Value PPS Classic
Does anyone think the PPS Classic original models have or will have any collectors value. I have a 9 and 40 that I don't shoot. I prefer the G word 43 and the PC Shield in 45 and 9. Should I sell them or keep them for appreciation?
I don't need the money but I am old and see no future carry or shooting use for the PPSs. Please don't let this become a thread of PPS superiority to Glocks or Shields.

Groundhog....Walther is still manufacturing and selling the PPS M1. Here it is on page 20 of Walthers 2017 catalog.

It's worth less now than when you bought it.

I paid $349 for my PPS classic, as opposed to the original MSRP of near twice that when the model was new.

It seems that Walther isn't manufacturing the M1 model any longer:

One says it still being made one says it is no longer made. Which is it?

I don't know but I sure wish I bought a spare when I could have for in the $370 range.

I'm not sure if one can find a new PPS Classic on GB or the other online gun sale sites. I wouldn't be afraid to own a lightly used one, for that matter.

Not if you move to California and sell it via PPT.....M1 would get you $800-900, M2 gets $900-1100.

True story :o

I wrote Walther on this topic 3 weeks ago and they replied that the M1 will remain in production, just in sporadic batches.
