PPS ripping holes in shirt
 
I carry my PPS M1 IWB everyday. I noticed a lot of small holes forming in my shirts around the PPS. I an guessing the metal sights are causing the holes because they are the pointiest part of the gun. Has anyone else had a similar experience? I have thought about switching my PPS sights with my PPQs polymer sights because they don't seem as sharp. If anyone else has tried this let me know what you think.

You have the stock steel sights on the PPS?

I've got big blocky Meps on my PPQ, they're quite painful when you (me, rather lol) bang a hand or even an elbow into it..

My PPS (and P99c) sights are perfect. Smaller, rounded, out of the way...

The P99c has Trijicons on it, but they're the PPS version. Pressed in..

I would keep the metal sights. I’ve switched mine out to Trijicon HD’s. They are a bit better but still do have some sharp edges too. I’ve not had any issues with holes in my shirts but I tend to wear shirts that are a kinda looser fitting. The shirts flow away from the gun just a bit and also aids in concealment. Not my favorite IWB brand by a far shot but... Clinger holsters actually have full sweatshields on BOTH sides on the gun covering the sights on the shirt side. Might check into them.

They are the original metal sights. Aside from the shirt holes I think they are great. I will try a bigger shirt and see if that helps.

I recently purchased a V3 Stingray clinger holster for my PPS M1 and the fit and quality is outstanding. I highly recommend them.
