It's not exactly because "I" and "J" look similar. It's more because it was quite usual in the German language to use the capital letter "J" instead of a simple "I". The linguistic science calls it a swash letter. Especially in words like "Illustrierte" it was common to write "Jllustrierte" for a better reading, but often in names like "Jsabelle" or "Jtalien" too.

The Swiss Army used the letter "J" on plates of vehicles issued to the various infantry training areas.

I am looking to purchase a 1968 Walther PPK/s 22lr no import marks. In the best 95-100 condition. What would be a good and fair price, any help would be appreciated.
