PPK/S 22 LR

I just purchased one of these used--in excellent condition. To find its date of manufacture I have navigated through various threads and have spent a lot of time getting nowhere. Its serial number is WF003###. Anyone have any idea of its age or where to go to find out?

That's super easy Look under the SN and you'll see a "DE" which stands for Germany, and then some proof marks and then two more letters the same size and font as the "DE" That is your date code. It goes as follows.
A = 0
B = 1
C = 2
D = 3
E = 4
F = 5
G = 6
H = 7
I/J = 8
K = 9

So BG would be 16 or 2016
