$ comparison...

after looking at a lot of price lists here in the USA...it appears that WW II Walther PPK's and PP's are worth twice that of Mauser HSc's and Sauer and Sohn 38h's...yes or no ? ...

Walther is definitely a more collectible brand but I wouldn't ignore the others you mentioned. The HSc is underrated. Mine is a lot of fun to shoot and a little more accurate than my ZM PPK. Eventually I'd like to ad a 38H.

I think your pricing is in the ballpark, probably slanted even more towards the Walthers.
I had an HSc shipped in from a Cabelas in another state - looked to be in decent shape, made in 1941 and the price at $459. When it came in and I held it I remembered why I sold mine like 35 years ago. They just don't feel right in my hand.
The Sauer 38H is a different matter. I got one about 5 years ago when a friend of mine was selling 40 plus guns for a friend who's father had passed and he wasn't a "gun guy".
Mine is of the "War finish" variety, has the manual safety and actually has the original stocks that are in perfect condition with no cracks or chips. A very accurate gun, nice trigger and 100% reliable. Feels great in my hands. Thing is, it's worth in the $425 range, whereas a comparable WWII era Walther would be at least double that. I got a crazy good deal at $275.
