Which makes some German words incredibly long and complex, or those pesky words spelled with 'w' that sound like 'v', etc.

Pet spelling peeve — judgment spelled as judgement. Other peeves include "orientate" and ending a sentence with a preposition because people no longer understand contractions — "Where's it at?" instead of "Where is it?" Makes me positively cringe.

Probably not. That's why many Germans are unable to write a correct German. 'generation dump'...

That might be an appropriate usage if the point is too stupid to be voiced.

I recall a thread on the High Road forum a few years ago titled Grammar for Gunnies, or something close to that. It went along quite well for a time, until folks started recognizing issues that they were prone to in their own posts, and before long, well, let's just say that arguments ensued. These days, I am pleased to see words appropriately capitalized, with apostrophes inserted in the proper places, and an attempt, at least, to get close to the spelling of the word choice in question. As for punctuation, well, commas when necessary and full stops at the end of a complete thought are not too much to ask.

Not that any of this has much to do with the staggering price of that PP ... except, perhaps, to say that the seller could afford to take a community college class or three and even pay for the books involved to improve his writing skills ... if necessary, of course.
