Thats a rediculous price for a post war PPK you could almost buy two WWII PPK's for that price.

For $2600.00 I would almost sell my 1939 & 1941 PPK in .32 ACP.

But how many post war non S&W NIB PPK/S are still out there? How many prewar PPK NIB with everything still out there and what would it go for? Maybe 5 times or more than this one? After all this one was only a 9mmk PPK/S, not a real PPK.

Remember, this was a NIB with it's plastic wrapper, test target, owner's manual, and etc. If you have one exactly like this one then yours maybe worth as much to some idiot.

The beauty of gun auctions is that you often run into people with more money than sense. The problem is that this behavior often affects the sale price of the pistol that YOU want to purchase ... the one you absolutely know isn't worth $2,600 but rather ... $600. You can't tell that to its current owner, however ... not after he saw what happened during this auction.
halfmoonclip, Jimbo80 and plarry like this.

Those $600 examples of ZM and Ulm PP series guns are few and far between anymore. I'm snatching up any I see.

It's now north of $5.5k!

I bought a NIB package just like this (within a few hundred of this serial), still wrapped etc for $800 this year.

Ulm PPK/S in .380 should never even reach $2k.

Makes me wonder if they know what they're bidding on?
