There's a resolution process but I've never used it so I'm not sure about the premium.

The strange thing is there were very experienced bidders in the mix late. Really weird.

At least one of those bidders was very experienced with Walthers, and he went well north of $5K. Guess I am missing something really, really special about this particular gun.

An expanded wallet, perhaps ...

Here we go again. Same seller with an identical package whose serial number is only one off this first gun. Bid is already up to $2,975. Madness.

Perhaps he should have sold them as a consecutive-numbered pair and really got some crazy bidding

I'm still wondering about the same spelling errors in the calibre designation.

There's a pair of NIB consecutive PPK/S' on GB as we speak. Started at $2500. No bids yet.

If a PPK/S can go for that price what would a 1983 real PPK, no importation marks, in
.380, absolutely new in box with all, documents etc. fetch. Maybe $10,000???

I know in late 1970's thru early 1980's that a few true PPK pistols did come back from U.S. service personnel from Europe when they were deployed.

This auction only had a single bidder, and both sold for the starting bid of $2500. Weird how some auctions get crazy high prices, while others like this get no attention at all.
