Crunching the 380 — A ballistics analysis (Part III)

https://wereratgames.azurewebsites.n...ysis-part-iii/

In which the author actually makes a recommendation based on the 334 data points assembled from the 12 different websites/vloggers in addition to showing off pretty pictures.

(tl;dr for those who don't care to read it all: pocket pistols XTP, 3"+ barrels XTP, CDR, or HST by preference (including our beloved PPK/S and its near cousin by barrel length the G42))

Part I and II are at the root site: https://wereratgames.azurewebsites.net/

No. 6, thanks for the Reader's Digest version!
Your conclusions mirror my own, and I didn't work nearly so hard.
But we do thank you.

That’s how data science works. I could’ve bent, manipulated, and spindled data to find some dramatic conclusion. I certainly was hoping to see some refutation of popular thought with enough data.

Sometimes, though, you just end up being a lot more certain of what anecdotes already suggested.
