My research on that serial number has revealed that Himmlerís driverís brotherís mistress actually owned the pistol, after stealing during an encounter with Marcel Marceau, knowing he would not be able to tell people about the theft.

When it’s an established gun business like in this case, you always wonder whether they themselves got suckered with that story, maybe in a trade, or someone there actually cooked it up. In the internet age, there is no excuse. Of course, for the same reason anyone dumb enough to buy that deserves to be out that kind of money.
