Help with recoil spring, ppk interarms.

Late 80s ppk. Recently it will not recock when firing. Ejects and feeds fine. Runs s/a fine. Cleaned , lubed and have tried various ammo. Thought Id try a wolfs recoil spring. Is 20# the the stock spring weight for this older model? Is recoil spring the likely problem?

I would replace the hammer block spring and try that. Had the same thing happen to me with a 65 PP and when I replaced the hammer block spring it ran fine.
