380 problems

Does the PK380 have any of the problems that the P22 had, like the trigger bar ears chewing up the slide.

Too soon to tell -- as of this writing, at least. Most all of the reports that we have received on the new Umarex product seem to be mostly positive. It's likely that too few of them have been in circulation long enough for the "issues" to begin creeping in and reports about those "issues" made -- if, in fact, they gun has any such issues at all.

We have had a couple of posts regarding premature wear on the barrel, with some speculation as to what might be going on there. you'd do well to take a look at the threads in question.

I'm getting some excessive wear on the inside of the slide below the slide grooves and then a little rubbing on the barrel.

This seems to be something of a trend; note the other threads that deal with this topic. It's certainly something that every PK380 owner will want to monitor in the days and weeks ahead. If anyone is out there range-shooting and then camera-shooting in its aftermath, be sure to post some photos for us.
