I have been shooting the MFS/pmc ammo lately because it's all i've been able to find at a reasonable price. I've fired 150 rnds with one mis fire that I WAS able to restrike. Other than that it seems very accurate and seems to be fairly clean.
Another brand I've found that I don't think anyone has mentioned is AGUILA. No misfires with this yet but it doesn't seem to burn very clean. After 50 rounds of this stuff I found a fair amount of unburnt powder when cleaning the gun.

Cool Ah crap....

I got a case of MFS a few weeks ago from Cabellas. I haven't shot it yet because I've been going through some other stuff but after these past few posts I guess I'll need to get it out next to see for myself.

MFS AMMO

Just shot another 100 rnds of the MFS. I had 5 rounds that failed to fire in this batch. All of them fired on restrike, although 1 rnd took a few strikes. I guess I was just more stubborn than the primer.
I did learn though that this has alot to do with european ammo. Apparently european ammo has harder primers. So it's not so much a bad primer just one that takes a good whack. So it takes a heavy hammer to make this stuff shoot reliably.

on the MFS misfires that i have the primers got wacked so hard they have a crater on the primer not a dimple. just about the whole primer has a dished shape to it. if i can i will post pictures later. i would shoot some soon if you have it. my misfire rate was much higher, BANG, BANG, CLICK, BANG, BANG, CLICK.

Went out today and shot 300 of the MFS ammo.

Had 12 misfires. All fired on the second try except one, which needed three tries.

Also had two that failed to feed, last bullet in the magazine both times.

go to cabelas. handgun ammo, and look at the reviews for the MFS approx 50% of the reviewers have had issues from 80% missfire to just dirty. make your own judgment. for ME i will not purchase it again.

I took a look at the brass I had from the mfs. My primers were very inconsistant as far as firing pin markings. Some looked barely hit while other had the crater in them as described above.

Just got back from Cabela's, they finally got the PMC Bronze in stock. Also Blazer, Fiocchi, and Herter's on the shelf, lots of all except the PMC. I had that on backorder.

Found .380 ammo online..

I found .380 ammo on Gander Mountain's website, and called to confirm it was in stock, and it was. Winchester White Box for $20. Not real cheap, but still half of cost at the local gun shops. I ordered 6 boxes and will have them in 3 days.
