Cool new member P-99

Hello Im the new guy on the block. I have a early Interarms p-99 all Black serial # 401XXXX I really like it in 40 S&W my sister liked mine so much I found her a black one in 9MM hope to learn more about the P-99 How can i tell what year mine was made? Thanks

i did not know that there were any interarms imported .40 s&w p99s


there is a date code on the frame just below the the rial on the ejection port side.

i also suggest that you look at these pictures to see if you have the old or new style magazines.

the dimple in the new style is there to keep the slide stop from being tripped by the top cartridge in the magazine

Interarms p-99

Thanks for the information I have the early magazines but have never had any jams with this weapon. on my frame I see a very small N with some design above it and K I and a moose antler. it has ADJ sights and all the extra sights and a little yellow rod in a plastic bag along with two other back straps in a blacl plastic walther box.

Welcome, and congrats on the P99's. That symbol above the N is a crown. That is the proof mark. The other is called a staghorn and that indicates that it was proof fired at the Ulm proofhouse. Check out that entire website you were linked to, it's full of useful info. Enjoy!
