Flood of Manurhin MR 73 police trade-ins on GB

Greetings,

There are a bunch of police trade-in Manurhin MR 73 at relatively low prices on GunBroker right now. Revolvers for Sale - Buy Revolvers at GunBroker.com The conditions seem to be good to fair, and include both 3-inch and 4-inch barrels. These aren't collector grade by any means, but perhaps an affordable entry point to own one of these well-regarded revolvers.

I have zero affiliation with any of these listings, just passing it along to my friends on Walther Forums.

Regards,
Steve

I have two of these surplus ones, along with a pristine commercial 73. While they aren't as solid as the commercial gun (which is one of the best revolvers money can buy), they are still good shooters and for the prices they're at now, are definitely a good buy. Once this batch of imports is gone and they've dissipated into gun safes, you'll be hard-pressed to find another one for a while.

Just curious, but how are the police contract guns different from the commercial versions? I know about the target sights and the target-oriented grip variations, but is there more?

I doubt that I will get one, but can you share things to look for considering the likely history and condition of what is shown on GB?
