Ideal point of aim to point of impact.

Guys, I am a developing some handloads for competition. Currently my point of impact is 1.25" above my point of aim at 20 yds. I am thinking it ideally should be 0.5 - 0.75". What are your thoughts on this?

It is my guess that if you are used to you current point of aim that you should stick with it just as you stick with a certain ammo you use. It doesn't hurt to try new things and if you see improvement and feel comfortable with it then go for it. Just like bench rest shooters - they have different points of aim and aim where they feel the most confident. Just my opinion
