Yeah I was thinking the same thing. And I liked that aspect of the movie. It re-adjusted the chronology to get it into the 21st century.

But I do like Hemi's suggestion about the full-on prequel. And it would be cool to see it set back in the time frame it originated from. A retro Bond. I hope they do that someday. And I hope JJ Abrams produces it.

The problem with that is... Bond from that era is just too politically incorrect for today's audience. Too womanizing? It would never fly past the censers.

Granted, the silly ones made with Roger Moore were almost all hideous, and those are specifically the ones I don't care much for. But the recent 4 films had some of the best, coolest, almost believable, but totally wild action scenes I've ever seen in a movie. Bring out the popcorn!

If you want to talk about ridiculous gun action, John Wick pretty much captures all that end of the spectrum. Bring out the No-Doze. Ho hum!
Alrighty then, sounds like somebody has a Daniel Craig crush and has serious delusions of having a bromance with the dude? Very creepy?

They're the smartest dogs we've ever had, they actually have cognitive thinking it's freaky. Here she is waiting for her guest to arrive for a party, we told her to go wait in the chair.

Awesome. My neighbor had a Schnauzer, and I was really impressed with it all around. Friendly, intelligent, deep thinker, nice looking. Kind of reminds me of myself actually. Ha! All seriousness aside, if I ever get another dog, that would be at the top of my list.

My last dog was a Beagle that lived about 15 years and died of cancer. I was so tore up over the loss, I just don't think I could go through that again.

Bond is dead. The PC nitwits killed him when Spectre couldn't.

Bond Lives!!!

I will concede that the movies are getting more politically correct. In the Last four, M was a woman, which really really upset me when I first heard it announced. But Judi Dench wasn't just a token woman. She OWNED that role, and was amazing in it. The best M ever.

And Moneypenny was played by a dark skin actress in the last two films. I don't know or care what her specific ethnicity is, but she was also awesome in the role. She redefined it and also OWNED it. I suppose some people probably thought it was a nod to PC'ness to choose Naomie Harris for the role. I think it was just an effort to get the best people for the job, while reflecting a more realistic view of the diverse society modern James Bond lives in.
