Good luck 1911, just hope you don't take it as far as Bruce Jenner.

Halfmoonclip takes over spot number one today on the posts....so that section is up and running again. Not that that section is too important but a good time to say thanks to all who keep this site running smoothly. 1917

Drove over to the Cahaba River National Wildlife Refuge today. I've been wanting to go for thirty years. Washed the truck, mowed the grass, grabbed the camera and stuff and headed out. Water too as it was 95 f out. The place was nothing more than a gravel road with pull offs, free, the river and the lilies were beautiful. They only grow in a very few spots...this is the largest and they don't know why. Transplanting doesn't work. Something has to be just right. The seed pods get caught in between rocks and in cracks and grow in the flowing water. I will add some photos later. This is a very clean river with a lot of people working to make sure it stays clean. Man, those rocks are slippery though. I didn't fall but I saw plenty of other peeps hit the water and the hard rocks just beneath the surface. One step you are in 4" of water, the next step 4'....so you have to watch where you are walking. 1917

Checked in with Ft Smith. Flood wise they are fine. A few employees have houses in bad areas, some of the employees are having to take much longer routes to get to work due to flooded roads, etc. But, all in all they are pretty much safe from the flooding. 1917

Good luck with the radiation. I had it about 11 years ago. My biggest side effect was chronic fatigue (couldn't really work anymore) and permanent hair loss. (but I had it on the side of my head) No reoccurrence though!

Texas governor just signed a bill. No hunting license required when going after feral hogs and their kin. Damn critters are a royal pain!
