Just picked up my new EDC/Summer Carry/BUG last week.

Introducing the Ruger LCP 10th Anniversary Edition.

As you can see in the photos, what sets it apart from the standard Ruger LCP is the Stainless Steel, laser-engraved slide with arrow-pattern front/rear slide serrations, and the aluminum skeletonized trigger.

Some may question why I choice the LCP over the "new and improved" LCP II? The simple answer is that it was cheaper, smoother, and includes most of the improved features that the LCP II offers over the LCP anyway. (I can live without the last round hold open and higher profile sights, especially when both can be something of a double-edged sword anyway.)

Austin, that's how many (most?) of the members will see your post. The problem is that the forum allows you to link photos from sites we don't have access to.

Austin,

my son has a Ruger LCP as his car gun. It is hard to shoot it accurately but his hasn't failed or misfunctioned in well over 500 rounds. I have to admit that I am contemplating getting one, too.

Stock LCP is very thin and hard to hold onto ----------> somewhat hard gun to shoot well. With a few simple mods the LCP can be a very easy and accurate pistol to shoot.

Add Hogue's rubber beaver tail grip and it widens a very thin pistol to something easily able to be held firmly.

Add Pearce magazine base plates and one's pinky has somewhere to rest and grip the gun.

Add a laser for accurate sighting (and improved cosmetics.)

Lastly add an adjustable trigger to give a more positive and crisper trigger pull. (cannot for the life of me remember the name of it.)

I have a pair of H&K P7 M13s, doubt they'll ever get "forgotten" in my safe.

Nill target grip "shooter", and a NIB unfired example.......
