Awesome video!

Loved the history of Walther...

Always been a fan of Bond, but it took the fanfare of the PPQ to make me a forum member.

I will have to expand my collection with a PPK one of these days. (Sorry wifey, need "another" gun... )

Also, I wonder how long until the PPQ makes an onscreen appearance?

The PPK is appearing in "Skyfall" I heard and confirmed on imfdb.org

I didn't read Fleming's books, just watched the movies. I read on the Beretta forum the other day that Bond's first gun was a Beretta 418. Looks a little like a Modell 1.

I still visit the Beretta forum now and again even though I traded my last Beretta, a 90-Two, for my PPQ. I also have a Browning BDA, which is based on the Cheetah (Model 84) so mags, grips, and most internals are the same, and I sometimes get good information from there.

Very Cool! Helped raise my "pride of ownership" bar a few notches.

This cocktail table beautifully photographed book has many imagines seen in the video plus many more and good text. It is very expensive at $135.00 new but I got mine some years ago for $55. It far exceeds the video in images and scope.

I'll be the first to admit my exposure to Walther came from James Bond, and I'm glad he's still shooting Walthers. I'll admit I've wanted a PPK since about 1995 (that scene where Zukovsky says "Walther PPK, 7.65 millimeter. Only three men I know use such a gun. I believe I've killed two of them").

Needless to say, I finally got mine. It's an Smith & Wesson Model in .380 ACP but it will do for me. But since then I've bought a P22 and am waffling between the PPQ and P99 while I wait to get some permits back from the state.

As far as Walther history goes, fascinating. I just wish it was a little more up to date!

(Speaking of up to date... how about this Zombie thread!)
