Yes, I saved revision B to my desktop and that information was not anywhere in the PDF. I did scroll all the way down/read that entire PDF. Thank you for the updated PDF!

I have a BA with the Night Sight defense kit with three mags package and it has the old style.

The BB standard sights two mags that I picked up during the rebate has the new style.

I had to order some parts from Smith so I added part 2686074 to that order and it is on the way. Thank you for the PDF.

I've had no problems but I would find it tough to deal with if I had a problem at a critical moment that I could have prevented for $10.

UPDATE ON REPLACEMENT PARTS BY WALTHER USA FOR MY PPS, as promised!

FLAME ON, WALTHER EMPLOYS INCOMPETENT PHONE PEOPLE ;FLAME ON !!

Gosh DARN IT, YOU FRIGGIN MORONS!!

Do you know what a slide stop is? Can you even read a parts diagram that has the parts listed not only in German but in ENGLISH!! Can you read either language? How many times did I say "SLIDE STOP & SPRING" Not fewer than 10 times!

So, what on earth are these parts? They shipped me #2686228 & # 2686414. I had to go to the file myself to figure out what they are. In the parts diagram they are 12.14 and 12.15. Nice try . What am I supposed to do with these?

Monday morning is going to be fun when I get their head of CS on the phone.

Ticked off? Just a bit. Their customer service has sucked and has taken a turn for the worst. I shouldn't have to post this. I'm supposed to be a "Happy customer". I will have a conversation with the manager at the SHOT Show.

I tried to be nice, I really did. If I did this to a customer of ours , I'd be looking for another job!! Yep, I'm IN the gun manufacturing business. This really is nothing more than incompetence.

Flame & rant off.

Thanks for the information. Guess I really ranted a bit but I was in the parts field for many years. People can make simple mistakes BUT, this one was gross negligence. I can teach my Grandson to do a better job. Either the Gal I spoke with IS incompetent or was thrown into a job she was never trained for. The second IS a slam of S&W. I purchase at least 2 guns a year. Guess how many will be Walthers or S&W products in the future? YOU ARE NOTHING WITHOUT 110% CUSTOMER SERVICE.

We'll see what happens Monday. I WILL report back!

Hey M_E_, I see S&W only missed getting your correct parts by a couple of lines on the parts list.

Yea, but close only counts in horseshoes, hand grenades & nuclear warheads.

Earlier this year I had the extractor on my 9mm break before a shot was fired a few days before my first trip to the range. Not wanting to ship off my new PPS, I called CS and asked if there was any way I could be sent a new one instead of sending the gun in. They said it would need to come in and I went through the process. A few days after I sent it in I got an extractor in the mail from S&W. Best I can tell, it will fit an M&P. I just had to laugh, 'well at least they're trying' I think I said. I have begun to think of them like an autistic nephew. They can do some beautiful things and they mean well but at least once in a while can really f*^k some s#*t up. Sometimes they will require more guidance than we can give so it's inevitable really. It's alot like calling your phone company.
