You might want to look at the Garrett Silent Thunder D2. It has a thumb break and the straps can be removed...the down side is that it does stick out slightly...

I've found the DeSantis Speed Scabbard fits my Q 45 perfectly and hugs my waist nicely for an OWB. The DeSantis Thumb Break Scabbard will likely work as well:

I'll also check how my Q 45 fits in the Galco Miami Classic and let you know about that.

Update: The Q 45 does not come close to fitting the Miami Classic shoulder rig. It doesn't fit my Black Hills vertical shoulder rig either but it does fit my Vega verticle

Now THAT looks nice. Ron does excellent work. I still scratch my head in wonderment as to how he glues the leather to the kydex.

I would also like to add a possible other holster company, Winthrop holsters. I have experience with them on 1911's. They have the PPQ on there site but I think it's the 9mm. I just e mailed them to see if the Q45 is in the very near future. I'll pass on anything I fine out.

While I was searching for a holster for my PPQ M2 .45, I ran across this:

He shows that a Blackhawk 24 for a P99 fits the PPQ perfectly.

Ron, here's the direct like to their PPQ holsters: Walther PPQ Outside the Waistband w/Shield Holster Right Handed Black 0254 - Winthrop Holsters A possibility for me, thanks.

I also found this on eBay:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/281848240489...xe=exe,ext=ext

I'm not thrilled that this one comes from outside the US, but it's the closest I can find that is similar to my Bianchi #5 I have for my Glock 26 & 27. The seller says it will work with the PPQ M2 .45, and if not, he’ll refund the cost (not too much comfort in his knowledge about what he’s selling)…

But will a Q45 fit in those holsters? Remember the slide is slightly higher and longer then the 9 or 40....

Very good questions, and I'll bet if someone asked Safariland, they'd say "no" without actually checking.

I'm probably going to have to bring my Q45 in to a local gun shop once received and try it out in different H&K and other Walther holsters...

I did get a green light from James Ervin Nelson at www.nelsonholsters.com , he informed me that he does have the PPQ .45 mold. And it's not a issue to make them.

Cheers
Ron

I have a holster from IMI Defense for the PPQ M2 (9mm/.40) and the .45 does NOT fit. I bet that is common with all poly holsters that are for the PPQ.
