Ulm or Arnsberg?

Which factory manufactures the Creed and where was the PPX manufactured? I was under the impression that all of Walther's economy line were manufactured in Arnsberg by Umarex. Thanks.

At least until today, the origin of a polymer pistol by Walther seems to be determinable by the color of its magazine:
- black: Ulm
- silver: Arnsberg

I 'm aware of only one exception to this rule: during a short time some PK380 were also manufactured in Ulm.

I thought that after 37 posts only two threads down, that was all "cleared up".

There are no proof marks on the slide or barrel, which would (I believe) be a first for Ulm. This leads me to believe that the frame is made in Ulm and the upper assembly is made in Arnsberg.

Also the gun very much looks like an Umarex design.

Could it be that you didn't recognize the new CIP proof mark as such? The old nitro proof mark with the eagle sign was replaced at the end of 2014.
