My Creed Review

Hey guys....this will be a short review....

I had a new student a few weeks ago, first time shooter. I suggested a Creed based on his needs and budget and so that’s what he bought. I have never shot one before.

It’s a bit bulky to me for some reason....can’t put my finger on it. Trigger is good. But gun does seem a little cheap. You can tell where Walther skimped a bit...which is fine...he paid $250 for it.

Sights are adequate, Trigger is good, and it shoots well.

Biggest complaint is how slippery the grips feel. Wow. But it’s an easy fix....Talon Grips.

On the whole, I think for a new shooter looking to not invest a lot of money, it’s a great starter gun. One that has a very high level of value and great until perhaps someone really knows what they want.

I am willing to bet that the gun will hold its value if you hold it long enough. At some point they will all be gone and I bet you could easily find people willing to pay more than $250 or even $300 used for sure. Best Trigger in any gun anywhere near $250 and definateky on par with many more expensive guns.

The lack of replaceable back straps and cheap sites will be off-putting for some. But most people don’t change the back straps anyway.

Talon grips, and some much better sights and the gun would be a lot better. Guess you would be at about $350 after doing both upgrades which is still a fantastic value and I think well worth the added $100.

I am seriously thinking about buying one for myself. Not sure how anyone could pass one up frankly.

For the features this gun has it is hard to beat. It has the Tenifer coating, metal sights, & comes with two mags. I also like the trigger. Very good review.

Those are good points! Very common for low cost guns to skimp on mags

I bought one a couple of months ago from CDNN Sports online, $259 and extra mags on sale for half price. Landed at my FFL for $315 with 2 extra mags. Obviously at that price point it is not going to have the quality or features of a PPQ. That being said this pistol is worth every penny of what I paid for it. Easy to rack, easy to shoot and dead on accurate. I didn't get it to run 10,000 rounds through in competitive shooting. For a self defense, truck gun and fun range target shooter it can't be beat.

I shot it some more last weekend. The trigger is very “stagy” (is that a word?). With a little feel, you can make it shoot well but takes practice. It behaves a bit like a DA revolver in that respect but a lot lighter.

My rounds were making one solid hole at 15 ft. Could not even tell them apart. But high and left by about 2” in each direction. Didn’t spend more time with it to see why. Likely hand alignment issues.

I think that is a good description of the trigger.
