A friend acquired this weapon about two years ago but his wife was always troubled by its possible history and he wanted to give it a good home.
It is a nice P.38 Code "ac 43" 3rd Variation, 9493m in very good condition and it shoots well indeed.
All numbers match but it only has one mag.
With an m letter I'd say it was built later in 43 but it still is well finished and the grips are dark instead of red.
It shot a little low at 45 feet but I was shooting S&B 115. Next time I'll try a few GECO 124 and see what they do.
In all I'm pleased to bring this one into the family
