I put through my CCP in various conditions from ice, rain and snow to sunshine, the following:

350 rounds of Federal 115 grain loads, both brass and aluminum ... I did not count them separately. I also put through 60 rounds of Federal HST loads which are 124 grains only I believe, and 20 rounds of Federal Hydrashok. I mainly use the HST for self defense but would not hesitate to use the standard hardballs in a pinch.

Zero malfunctions

Sorry, forgot the added info. I had 5 FTFi on the AE 124gr in the first 100 rounds and 0 failures with 20 rounds of Hornady. I now have 400 rounds total, 380 AE 124gr, with no additional failures.

Around 900rds total now. Lost track of what I've fired but many ZVS 115gr FMJ, Blazer Brass 115gr FMJ, Wolf, Tula, Geco, Federal, Winchester, HST, Hydra-Shok, Hornady.
Had a number of FTF, FTE, FTF, stovepipes in first 300rds mostly with cheaper ammo being used for break-in. At this point it fires pretty much everything reliably: except one stovepipe today on round 99 of 100 I will attribute to limp wrist at the end of a long prior session of .45s in my XD.
Great shooting gun for me. Don't understand the wild swings of success/failure, but here's hoping the rest of you get em sorted or Walther fixes whatever ails them. Fun shooter.

How is your spring holding up? Have you tried any more Corbon rounds? I hope everything is working fine there now. Sure would have liked to known what caused your early problem. Wonder if it was something up in the striker cup that jammed it up? Thanks for all the good photos. They help. M1911

Striker spring looks new still. I wonder if it was bound up, kinked or defective in some way. Don't think the Corbons were hot enough to damage anything anyway, and I have no more to try. Fed HST is what I use.
You're still high bid on mac's used CCP. $50 is good deal!

That's not fair....no one told me about it. Think I'll start a bidding war at $51. Is he really selling?

Oops! Just saw a friendly rebuke on this topic in a different thread. Now I'm probably in trouble....it's all 1911's fault!

Geezzz don't wear it out, it is not a range gun, it is a carry gun. I bet that most folks on here on any forum for self-defense has ever put that many rounds down range ... period. Most carry folks find a gun, shoot a box, and carry. The next time they shoot it is many years later...
