I saw on a dealer website a listing for a 12 lb trigger PPS for about $50 less than other PPS at the same site.
Buds Gunshop http://www.budsgunshop.com/catalog/i...hp/cPath/21_55 WAP10007 WAL WAP10007 PPS 40 3.2 MA BLK $490 The other PPS models are $590s to $600+ |

I think what you are looking at is a MA compliant PPS that has a heavier disconnector...

Having drooled over owning a PPS for quite some time, I saw this listing on Buds as well and was prepared to jump on it, cause it's considerably cheaper than my local gun dealers; however, having lurked around the site I'm apprehensive about the heavier trigger pull of the MA complaint model.
Does anyone know how easy or expensive it would be to switch the H disconnector with the Standard one? Would someone be better off just purchasing the non-MA model? Or is the trigger pull really that much heavier that it would make a difference in a weapon to be used primarily as a concealed carry? Has anyone had their trigger lightened/shortened by a gunsmith? Is that even possible on a striker fired gun? BTW, I’m new, and I have learned a great deal from reading the various threads and appreciate the time and effort many of you have put into this site. I hope I haven’t asked too many ridiculous questions or violated etiquette! |

Here's what you're in for if you elect to do the replacement:

I purchased mine from Buds with the regular trigger pull. Yes, Mass. being a liberal controlled state requires all firearms to have heavier trigger pulls. Just purchase the reg. trigger pull firearm unless you live in MA and then GOD help you.

Being very budget minded (read "cash strapped") I'm still tempted by the MA version at about $100. off the standard, even though I'm fortunate enough to live in Texas. My PX4 has about a 10 pound trigger in DA and it's OK, something I can live with. Wondering if anyone has had experience shooting the MA version? |
