After the successful market launch of the COLT M4/M16 rifle series in caliber .22 LR CARL WALTHER expands the license production by the COLT pistols 1911 in caliber .22 LR.

The following models are available:
1911 Government A1
1911 Government Rail Gun
1911 Gold Cup Trophy

All products are made by WALTHER in Germany.

Thanks searcher, I will be waiting to get my hands on one of these and see how they are made. Interesting mix of M1911and A1 design on the A1 model. Seems there is a never ending supply of new firearms these days. M1911

Amazing. I shot a Government Colt Mod. 1911 in .45ACP when I were in the Navy and it was a blast.

Now I know what my next Walther (Colt) is going to be!

If I am not mistaken, these are umarex guns - as I had heard umarex was making these for someone else.... Guess they will sell a Walther version as well...

Exclamation There is another 1911-clone by Browning in .22 LR

If the browning is a scaled-down version is the Walther in 1-to-1 scale as the original?

The weapon has the same thread on the barrel like a P22 you can
you can use the silencer on Walther.
