@ roadkill45,
with todays exchange rate its about USD 180. But one can get a .22 can incl. the adapter starting from USD 90 here. Also fortunatly no tax stamp needed. On the other hand you guys can get a Walther PPQ for 500-600 USD while prices e.g. in Germany (production country) are around 1100-1200 USD atm!

I just heard from a seller that brügger & thomet were producing the SD22 silencers for Walther, but they are not doing it nowadays any more. I could just compare them and B&T is about half the weight.

Update:

Since I got neither infos here nor from Walther Germany in time on the SD22 , I went ahead with the Brügger and Thomet HP22 , after I could see its performance last days with P22 Target and Fionchi SubSonic I hope to get similar performance out of a regular P22 with CCI Standard (which should stay sub sonic in regular P22. But I guess I will open a new thread once I have some data to share on the BT .

On the same outing I could see the performance of a SD22 on a regular P22 with Federal Standard. But this can had been opened before and weight at least 2 as much as original spec. So not really comparable to a new one. Very unimpressive though and owner told he has never been satisfied with it.

Walther is selling nowadays a a TS22 as well, produced by Bügger and Thomet. Specs on website tell today a weight of 205 grams, same as SD22 on the website. An original Brügger and Thomet HP22 weights just 100 grams. I asked Walther to clarifiy but they have not come back to me yet.
