Rod guides

Does either the KKM or KKJ require an action-specific rod guide as the Anschutz actions do? If not, would appreciate suggestions as to which rod guide, or guides, would be suitable for either or both of these rifles. If you have good experience with any specific rods would especially appreciate your comments.

Thanks.

Are you asking about cleaning rods?

MGMike, thanks for the response. I am looking for a rod guide, the item that fits into the action and chamber through which the rod passes in cleaning the bore. They are action-specific in Anschutz rifle but I can't find out whether or not guides for Walthers are also action-specific. No one seems to list a bore guide specifically for Walthers so Walthers may accept a generic .22 caliber guide from any manufacturer who makes them.

I seem to remember some guy in Australia makes them specifically for the KKJ, but they are unnecessary IMO.

Mine too. They are more trouble than they are worth.
