OK, I hate to do it, but I'm gonna make you cry. I check gunbroker all the time....this one sold yesterday for $401 Like New S&W SW99-45ACP : Semi Auto Pistols at GunBroker.com heck....it made me cry, as I paid more than that for both of mine....yep, I've got two. If you look at the pictures I posted, the one in the holster has elongated magazine release, while the bottom or second picture has the standard short mag release. I just obtained another long mag release from Earl and will be modifying the second pistol in the near future. I'll be giving one of these to my son.

PPX in .45acp would be a great value alternative to the H&K 45. Similar hammer-fired set up, but with a better trigger and lower price point. Nice.

PPQ M2 in .45acp would be the "American caliber" with the "American mag release" with "America's best trigger". No brainer.

P99c .45acp would be the Glock 30 killer. This one makes me drool. Compact, decocker for CCW, big bore knockdown power, Walther trigger. Ooooh.

On a side note, hearing that the old rumor about H&K coming out with a striker-fired version of the P30 may actually be true. Combination of PPQ's great ergos and striker fired system with P99's decocker. I wonder if this news is affecting Walther's plans in any way....

My guess is something in 45acp, most likely the PPX. It'd be a smart move.
Maybe just my wishful thinking, though I'd like to see a P99as 45 more.
I love my sw99 45 - that GB auction was a steal on a great gun.

Have to concur on the SW99. And they are out there. I got mine online from a gun dealer in Arizona who shipped it to my favorite local gun store.

You hurt me, you hurt me real bad, man...
I seem to always miss the auction site deals you and others cite. Have to work harder I guess.

MillerMpls,

It is called "Karma" after what you said about selling your dog. You really hurt his feelings.
