WTS: 1936/1937 Walther PPK 7.65mm

I have a Walther PPK for sale. It was brought back here to the states by my grandfather after his tour during WWII. There are no capture papers with it so I don't know the exact history of it. The pistol was made sometime during 1936-1937 based on the serial number. I've been told by several collectors and appraisers that this is a commerical model, with some custom engraving that was most likely done by the owner of the gun shop where the pistol was orginially bought when new. It comes with the original holster and with 1 each of both types of original magazines. The bore is bright and shinny. The grip has zero visable cracks and has never been removed.

The pistol is marked as follows:

–– The L/H side of the slide is marked as follows: Walther (in a banner), Waffenfabrik Walther, Zella-Mehlis (Thur) Walther's Patent Cal 7.65 m/m
–– Upper L/H surface, near the centerline of the slide about 1/2" back is engraved: Gewehr Richter Cottbus - translates to - (Richters Gun Shop, Cottbus Germany)
–– It does have proof marks on the slide below the ejection port & just aft of the muzzel on the barrel, and on the chamber.
–– The S/N is located on the right side just behind the trigger. S/N 943157

I'm asking:
$850.00 shipped anywhere in the Lower 48 CONUS.

If you don't like the price, then make me a reasonable offer.

I will ship to a current C & R holder or your FFL. Please make sure your FFL will accept from a non ffl.

Funds can be by USPS MO or discreet paypal sent as a gift.

Please send any question directly to me at Citationdoc@cfl.rr.com

FWIW, this post is from May, and the forum member who posted it hasn't been seen or heard from since. All of his posts were framed around selling, by the way. A PM might generate a response ...
