JOJO's NICKLE PLATED TEFLON PPS UPDATE

Went to the range this past Saturday Morning and ran 200+ WWB ammo without any problems. Also threw in a few Federal Hydro's as they are my main carry ammo.

Seems the PPS is now dialed in and just a blast to shoot ( NO pun intended)

I called up John at www.jojosgunworks.com just to relay the good news.

Seem's he not only polished the extractor but also changed the angle ever so slightly.

Whatever they did seemed to fix the PPS from the FTE's. Hopefully for good!

My cousin who is a private investigator also put down a deposit on a PPS so he will be next in line to join the PPS crew!

Thanks again John!

Question

I really do like the look... is it slippery? Did you send in the entire weapon or just the slide?

I wouldn't say slippery

Slick maybe def not a problem for racking etc.

Slide was brought in only!

And the barrel too, right? I was wondering about the coating getting inside the barrel, and I don't remember exactly what they said.

It did have a little bit of a slippery feeling, as I recall.

Hey bud

Yes I opted to have the barrel done as well

John says that a very small amount of coating gets in the ends of the barrel but is quickly cleaned out a few rounds in.

Don't forget this coating is not without wear.
I would say that you can see a normal amount of top barrel wear after 300 plus rounds

I still love the look.

It will be very sweet with my new walther night sights which are on the way.

What night sights did you order for this?

Also, curious what JoJo's charged for the refinishing.

Thanks!

would polishing the slide, then sandblasting it produce the same dull silver result? that is what i plan on my next one.
