Is it crazy to own both the 9mm and .40 version of the PPS?

I don't think so as I'm thinking of doing that myself! For one, .40 ammo is everywhere down here, 9mm is not!

Wow...total opposite here with .40 sold out and 9mm not far behind. I am on a list to get Federal HST 165gr .40 with an estimated 6+ month wait! Federal is only a few miles from me!

Not any crazier than wanting two 9mm PPS. I'm buying a second one but sticking with ammo I've stocked up on. Most of my friends think I'm crazy buying two of the same gun. My main reason is I want to make sure I always have ONE.

Definitely not crazy. I have one in .40 and it's currently my favorite pistol. I want another in 9mm because (a) 9mm ammo is less expensive to practice with and (b) I just love the gun so much I want another one...

If you actually practice with it and shoot it, the 9mm will pay for itself in no time.

I prefer a 9+p in the smaller pistols.

Yes I think it is crazy! Why would you need two of anything like that!
That is in my Bill O'really, AKA Diane Fine-steen in drag, and George Stepin-pop-off-a-ous voices! Let see, I own a HK P2000 SK in 9mm, 357 Sig , and 40 S & W as well as a 9mm PPS. So no it doesn't sound crazy! This way you can run out of the 40 ammo and switch to the 9mm.

Sir......you have spoken words of wisdom. I own two Walther .40 PPS's and I may soon own two in 9mm. Two is one and one is......none!!!
