My Excellent Customer Service Experience
So, about a month ago I bought a used (approx 300 rds), blue-grey .40 PPS, with the old style(uncovered) slide release spring. Took it to the range for the first time, got 20 rds through it and WAM!, the slide locks back. I assumed it was the common failure, called walther and they said to send it in.
A couple weeks later, i get a call and instead of the common problem I expected, the actual frame had cracked. With the gun being well out of warranty I was thinking I was screwed and asked what now.Well, the customer service rep, replied by saying that he was sorry, and they no longer make the blue-grey frames but that Walther would be more than happy to replace it with a brand new, standard black framed model. So, a few days later and I just picked it up. BB date code, with the new (covered) slide release spring, 2 sep magazines and 2 sep back-straps. |
