Where should I buy my PPS???

Alright guys...im on a very tight budget and have seen several online dealers selling the PPS (WAP10001) for $500 - $510 with free shipping, but neither of the people i have contacted can tell me or better yet assure me than i will be shipped a PPS with a serial code starting in BB...Any Ideas?

Well, it isn't a serial number, 'BB' is the date code.

yeah that was my error, i completly typed that out wrong...

Maybe call your local dealers and see if they'll price match. If so, you can check their date codes in person.

The 9mm PPS I recently purchased from Buds Gun Shop was a BB date code.

If you go from Buds this should be the case.

I bought a PPS from Bud's back in early December, 2011. It had the BB date code.

If Bud was shipping the BB guns in December, you should be OK in the last half of February.

I was a bit worried about ordering from Bud's without asking them to check for the BB, but after reading this, I decided to take the plunge. Let you guys know when it comes in.

I did not have a good experience with Buds. I asked about the date code and the guy said "I aint got no idea".

and yes they are shipping BB codes.

I bought my PPS from Bud's in late December. At the time I didn't know anything about build date codes. It has a BB build code and the case firing envelope is dated Feb something, 2011.
