Gray PPS
I'm new to the Walther Forums, but wanted to start a post reference the PPS I inherited from my brothers estate after his unexpected passing.
What's different (and possibly unique) about this pistol is the grayish blue frame it has... He bought it, brand new I believe, in June of 2008 from a shop in Delray Florida and the serial number is AB58xx. Included in the box is an Owner Declaration No. 326 1228-AH The pistol is a 9mm and the frame is marked Walther although the slide does have Smith and Wesson markings. From want I'm seeing here, this may have been an RSR spec. run? Or was this a color offered by Walther at some time in early production? Any information you guys can send my way would be very much appreciated.
