I got my CMR201 from Black Bear yesterday. Love it; works great. The laser is so compact that I can still use my same holsters. With a little stretching it fits in my DeSantis Nemisis pocket holster and my Galco Sto N Go IWB holster. And unlike the ArmaLaser I bought last month it actually works.

Mounted mine today. Very nice... It's a perfect match for the PPS IMO.

I went ahead and used a little blue loc-tite to be safe. But I still torqued the screws almost to the point where I thought they might strip and it seems to be working properly.

Got my CMR-201 today from Optics Planet. It looks like it was made for the PPS IMO. I love the way it looks on the gun. The positioning of the on/off button is perfect. My finger rests perfectly on it for one of the most intuitive interfaces I've seen for a laser sight.

I just have to modify my Truss holster (my winter carry holster) so my gun will fit with the sight. Also going to send Kholster (my summer carry holster) an email to see if he can make a one to accommodate the CMR-201 on a PPS.

Sent from my stock DROID X2 using Tapatalk.

Got my Truss holster modified the other night and it holds my PPS perfectly with the CMR-201.

I emailed Jimmy over at Kholster and here's his reply:

"We’ll look into this if there is a high enough demand. We don’t have the laser or the actual gun to work with but if this changes, I will let you know."

So, if any others wear a Kholster with their PPS, PLEASE request Kholster make holsters to accommodate the CMR-201. If enough people request it, he will build it.

Do you have a referral code you can PM me?

I notice in his list of guns he shows a PPS with CT. I have a call into him to see if it is the CMR-201. I assume so as that is the only CT i am aware of for the PPS.

how often do you have to change the batteries?

How far away do you zero in the point of aim?

Personal preference.

I personally see no downside in zeroing as far away as possible/practical. Which had always been 25 yards for me. You'll stay within the offset (barrel to laser) out to twice your zero distance. Shoot a little high (to varying degrees) inside of 25 yards and a little low past 25 yards.

However, I'm thinking of going to the "in line" method in which you zero in line with the barrel and you're always shooting high to the same degree until trajectory comes into play. In other words if you're an inch and 1/2 high at point blank you'd still be an inch and a half high at say 50 yards.

Actually the CT referred to on his site is the grip laser, I believe. In my email to Jimmy, he specifically stated they don't have a CMR-201 to mold Kydex to, but if enough interest showed, they would make them, hence my earlier post to email him and request he make a PPS/CMR-201 holster.

Just PMed you a referral code.

I'm going to list mine for sale.

I like it, it works, and is exactly what I expected/hoped for but...

I should have done some more research before buying. I plan on carrying my PPS IWB, OWB, shoulder holster, and pocket (coat) depending on the circumstances. Trying to find 4 different holsters without paying a fortune for custom jobs is turning out to be next to impossible. I don't plan on changing mounts and/or taking off the laser for every different carry method.

So it'll be listed in the exchange section for $105 shipped USPS priority.
