Well, it's official. My PPS HATES critical defense. It eats Federal Hi-Shok like Kobiashi at a hot dog eating contest. Woot! lol

I will never use Hornady CD again in my PPS

I think it is interesting how poorly most PPS's perform with the CD.

Gold Dots were flawless in mine.

I will be trying HST next week.

I just received 200 RA9T's to try out. That will probably be my carry load. I had a bunch of BVAC 124gr JHP's but I've seen they have an issue with jacket separation. They had no issue feeding though as they were 50 of my first 250 rounds cycled through. I'm sure the new 147gr talons will work just fine.

browsing through the forum im a PPQ owner, but I used to just use my range ammo Federal Champion 115gr FMJ, however for defense in my house (i dont have a ccw yet) and i dont want it going through and hitting someone else i use Winchester USA 147gr JHP

A 147gr JHP is unlikely to expand in typical interior home construction material and penetrate a good deal more than the lighter FMJ.

my main concern was the hollow point vs non-hollow if i had to use it against a person (hopefully ill never have to find out)...............I have been trying to get a hold of 115gr JHP's that winchester makes but its always sold out of every walmart and gun shop nearby! as soon as i can find it, ill be using that as my ammo
