Would PPS owners be open to a NEW maker of custom PPS holsters?

OK, here is the skinny. A good friend of mine is in his first year or so, of custom holsters. He's made a few for me, including one for my Speed Six.

I was talking to him today, and told him I think he'd have a great opportunity here, to create CUSTOM leather holsters for the PPS.

He said he was interested, so I figured I'd ask you guys here first. he is curious about demand, because he doesn't want to purchase a dummy gun if he will only sell 2 or 3.
For the time being, I will loan him mine, if anyone is interested.

I will post a pic of his "experimental" Security/Speed/Police Six holster he made for me:

I will also post a link to his FB page(if this is a no no, let me know and I'll gladly pull it).

I wish there were more mainstream holster makers, but I REALLY like having a holster made for my gun, to my specs.
Also, if you do contact him, tell him Kris sent ya. I get nothing for it, but it will help him keep track of where things are generating from.

I'd be keen to see a new option for the pps.

I'd also really like to see a mag carrier for it as well.

I voted absolutely because there really aren't many options out there as it is for the PPS. But also keep in mind that the data for your poll may become skewed because while people may want to see extra choices, it doesn't mean they will choose that choice.

Does he make IWB holsters? I bought the PPS for CC so I'm only using those right now.

+1 to the mag carrier though

For you guys wanting magazine carriers:
Crossbreed makes a great mag carrier now (their old design was "meh" at best)

As far as a new holster maker, I think you'll find that most PPS owners will have already found a holster, and while that OWB is very nice, it isn't how most people are carrying their PPS, a spiffy-looking holster is sort of silly for concealment. He would have to be making holsters for a LOT of guns to get ahead, not just whatever you two have in your gun collections.

Now, I'd pay some money for a nice OC holster for my CZ82, CZ52, M57 Yugo Tok, H&R Sportsman, or KelTec PMR30 - those guns don't have ANY support, the PPS is actually pretty easy to find a good concealment holster for.

Yes he makes IWB holsters in fact his first holsters made are IWB, mag carriers shouldn't be a problem.

Nothing wrong with a "spiffy" looking holster at all, especially if thats what a guy wants. Choices are what he was wanting to offer. He can make a holster for anything ya want. If he can get access to the mold, he'll make the holster.

I second the above comment, I think they are GREAT looking leather holsters. and would be interested. I often carry mine OTB mainly because right now I do not have my CCW plus just to exercise my right to carry and help educate the public. Post up some prices, if you're not sure I could always contact him via facebook. Thanks.

I will get a hold of him today to get an idea of pricing. He has a fulltime job as well, so until this takes off he is a one man operation.

Be safe and always plan for that gun in the back of your head when walking out of the store. Be safe. Be prepared.
