Now that I am into PPQ's I have lost interest with the M&P's, and I would also prefer to standardize on one system.
I understand 100%, sounds like the PPQ was the right move. One reason I did not stick to the same platform I carry (M&P9c) when looking for another full-size 9 was the accuracy issue which seems to be popping up with the past year's FS M&P's. I know one person that has a M&P from about 2 years ago, and it’s dead on, but others I know are waiting to see what S&W will do to improve this weakness.

I have been lucky with my two compact M&P’s (9mm, and 357/40) is that they have performed flawlessly, and for me have been very accurate. In the end I hope after a year of the PPQ catching on, they come out with a compact that does just as well.

34 of those 300 or so rounds shift_zombie mentioned...

^Heh. One of the first times I took my brother out shooting, we had "dispel TV gun myths..." period. We did all kind of ridiculous nonsense, basically showing him how freakin' pointless 99% of movie shooting is.

Then we started into the real fundamentals. It's amusing, but freakin' tough to shoot with both hands. Unless I'm at 3-5 feet and for some reason need that happening...save ammo and shoot single, then switch or reload.
