Smallest Weaponlight for PPQ?
I'm looking to run my new first edition suppressed with my Osprey 45. I'm pretty sure the silencer 'clears' most lights, but for what I want the PPQ for, I don't think I need a large x400 style light.
I like the Viridian C5L for size, but I'm not sure if I need a green laser. Any other lights I should be looking into ? |

Viridian C5L, would be suggestion for a light that is worth buying. The Streamlight and SureFire Series are too big, IMO.

Streamlight TLR-3 or Insight X2 are a couple of other options.
There is also a Smith&Wesson Microlight that some people seem to like. |

Assume you've read my review/photos of the C5L on the PPQ
PPQ Weapon Light Gallery It is a nice laser/light. My biggest concern is the longevity of the battery cover as it is very very easy to cross thread the cap. Other than that, if the price point works then I recommend it. You can always not use the laser, although it does have some uses :-) TheWombat |

Yea... I really just want a C5L sized light. The lamp on the C5L looks quite tiny, I'd like to see a light gallery that had pictures of the lights being used.
I'll keep an eye out but more importantly I guess I should figure out where the suppressor is going to sit and how large a light I can fit there. |

The TLR-3 is definitely small...but seems to get really bad reviews compared to the standard TLR-1/2 sized lights. If you're slapping a weapon light on the gun, get one that's strong, and works.

I don't have one, but people seem to suggest the S&W Micro 90 isn't too bad for the money.

You're going to get a nasty barrel shadow with that suppressor, esp with a small floody light.
Unless you're carrying it daily, I don't see any reason not to go with an x300 or tlr-1s. I typically don't look too much further than those 2 lights. Plus the throw will help a little with the shadow from the suppressor. |

What are you using for suppressor sights? You may want to rethink having the laser on there.
