Yeah, that's a fantastic price on an FE! Easily $65-70 less than I paid for mine. (Curious if this has anything to do with the lackluster night-sight install debacle).

Purchased mine from a local gun show new, tags and all for $479 plus tax. The dealer has a store front not thirty miles away and another in Clute.

I don't believe the sights on the PPQ FE are tall enough to use when using most if not all suppressors.

PPQ in 9mm is $489 at Buck-n-Bass in Buford, GA. But, I would have spent about $30 in gas to drive up there, and I wanted to support the local range where I am a member so I bought mine for $549 at Sharpshooters USA. Also got a free box of ammo in the deal.

$482-$530 has been the price range on many popular websites for quite some time now. $520 in hand is by no means a bad deal.
The PPQ is a fine pistol and if it was $600 many of us, having fired it, would still purchase it. I feel anything around $500 is an exceptional deal for what you get. Walther does not get due respect, IMO. |

I paid $500 for mine.
It's interesting that I just got a long e-mail from Bud's that basically said that sales for all firearms are going crazy again, and implied that we should expect higher prices because of the higher demand and suppliers not being able to keep up. |

Makes sense to me as a friend who runs a shop is having trouble keeping enough inventory at the moment. He's got a lot of orders for Glocks and Sigs at the moment and has created accounts with a few other distributors and manufacturers to get products direct.
