PPQ price check
I want to find out what price most people are getting their PPQs for. budsgunshop.com has one for $570 and my local gun store is pricing it at $655. That's a huge difference given that I would not have to pay taxes on the buds gun. So far I'm going with buds unless anyone knows of a better online deal.

Well, Jet Guns ran out of 9mm PPQ's, but did have some 40 cal PPQ's for $489 last week. Yes, those were complete and new guns. Might have been a special-deal to get customers, but they sold a bunch for that price.
Good luck. |

9mm or .40?
Jet Guns has the .40 in stock for $489. The 9mm version is out of stock, but it was $489 also. I believe Jet Guns offers free shipping. And, unlike Bud's, if you use plactic, Jet Guns DOES NOT charge the extra 3%. See the .40 here Walther Ppq 40S&W 4 Synth. Grip 12R [PPQ] - $489.00 : Jet Guns, Smokin' Deals |

I paid $535 about a week ago at my local gun store for a 9mm PPQ.

I hit buy it now on gunbroker. Looks like I will have my PPQ in two weeks tax free. We have a background check fee here of $25 regardless of how you buy it and a $25 transfer fee from the LGS. Still cheaper than paying $650 plus taxes.

I'm going to order one in 9mm today. When I called the other day, on the phone I was quoted $558.00, which i think is pretty good for the People's Republic of Maryland. I friend on another forum said he paid $700.00 plus tax in Florida, which seemed high to me.

I'm saving $75 over my local gun store price by buying online. I probably could have found a lower price if I searched longer online. I's weird because the markup on Glocks at my LGS is real low. I don't know why they are asking full retail for the PPQ.

Because that's what the market is willing to pay for the PPQ. My brother-in-law is in the internet/gun business. I'm sure many here know this, but an internet-only store has less overhead than a brick & mortar store. Many purchases made from online stores are delivered from a distributor as a drop shipment. Keeps the price down for internet-only stores. I bought my PPQ a few months ago for $570, and I believe it was worth it. |
