IIRC you just back the screw out that adjusts the windage, then tap out gently with a punch. i would use a polymer punch since it is plastic, although a cut off toothbrush works great as a site pusher!!! I dont have the manual in front of me but i do have the gun and i beleive that is how it is done.

Oh and on all my Sigs i just tap them with said plastic punch until they are where they want them. you just have to brace the front end, just like working on an AR trigger, brace it so you don't break it. of course the proper tool makes it easier but in these economic times, i make my own! just tap it in, tappy, tappy, tappy!

sights can be switched...
the polymer sights of the P99 can tbe replaced by trijicon or meps night sights which use the same plunger that is currently on the P99 if you want "drift adjustable" rear sights they do not just require a sight pusher but also a tool that compresses the rollpin that holds the sight in place to slip over the hole in the slide that holds the sight plunger that is in the slide for the click adjustable sights..... so in short.. if you buy P99 night sights they should work in the PPQ

My P99 has a small detent pin that presses down on my rear sight that engages the square windage adjustment screw. Just press it down and the rear sights just slide out by pressing the assembly to the left. quite a straight forward removal on mine. By chance what night sights are you going with?

Gee that doees sound easy. Thanks ! I am open to suggestions for night sights. It would be for my PPQ but I think that if the sights are made for the P99 they should fit the PPQ. |

Trijicon or Meps both make night sights for the P99 that should work on the PPQ
