SERIAL NUMBERS FOR WALTHER PPK 32

Sponsored Links
HI, I hope I am in the right place. I have this on my gun

Waffenfabrik Walther Zella-MEHLIS ( THUR ) MOD PPK

WALTHERS PATTENT CAL 7.65 m/m

D.R.P. RIGHT BEHIND TRIGGER ON FRAME

ALL THIS INFO ON LEFT SIDE OF GUN

907168

I would like to know the age of it, I was told it was in
WW II, I have only fired it once and that was about 28 years ago.

Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Hope I done this right.

We love pictures. Especially detailed pics of all the marking.

1935 production. In this serial number range,"DRP" should be engraved, not die stamped, with periods between characters. Characters should be upright, not slanted.
If legit, this is a Deutsche Reichspost issue, provided to postal security personnel and rare.

I have PPK #876449; a 1935 mfg.
I doesn't have a cartridge indicator.
It's correct slide; as it's scribed with '449'.
