PPK/S 9mm kurz Target

Sponsored Links
I took my Manurhin PPK/S 9mm kurz to the range along with my PPQ today.

I was using WWB 95 gr range ammo at 7 yards. My draw stroke was from a Theis IWB holster shooting 2 or 3 round strings with a one handed grip and a 2 second time limit.

You'll see a couple of flyers which were from poor draw strokes. In my defense 126 rounds down range from my PPQ.

I love this weapon and I've never had an FTF or FTE.

Nice shooting, OS; thanks for sharing. It's fortunate that you were able to find 9mm ammo. I haven't seen a fresh box of any 9mm, and I mean anything, since about October of 2012.

Nice shioting...
.
Note that two seconds is a lot of time if you're dealing with someone who has a gun out already. You can't outdraw a trigger pull as my instructor used to say...

Quite true but I want my strings fired off in 2 seconds, which actually should be more then enough time to empty the magazine. 1 to 1.5 is also a good practice range, but I seldom try that right after a session with my PPQ. Maybe I should every so often.
