The salesman said "Ulm" and then, quickly, "Arnsburg".
Made it sound like "Zella" and "Mehlis".... M |

We have several active threads on this one, including ...
New PPK .22 Coming Fired the new PPK/S .22 Don't get your hopes up. It's a blank gun on steroids.

Maybe Umarex will start contracting mines to quarry zinc from the foothills of Thuringia. This way, when their new "Q" model PPK/S .22 comes out next year they can rightfully add "Zella Mehlis" to the potmetal molds. The facade will then be complete.

How about we stop trashing a gun that as far as these past threads have said only one or two persons have handled or shot. How about we wait til one shows up at or gunstores and we get a real chance to run it over the course

I await with baited breath.....well....not exactly that seriously, but I hope we have not scared away any prospective buyers so we can get some in-the-field assessments.

It's fine to be optimistic if you are expecting a P22 or a SP22 in that box under the Christmas tree. But if you are hoping for a 1970s-era PPK, and I'll wager that every Walther fan on this forum would love to have exactly that and would even be willing to pay appropriately for it, well, I wouldn't want to hold my breath for too long. Still, hope springs eternal ...
