The LCP's claim to fame is what is considered the bare minimum defensive caliber, in a package so small, light and reliable that there is no reason not to have it everywhere but in the shower. I won't argue the goodness of the .45; love to shoot them and have more than one, but they are big and a little tough to hide. And if I knew I was headed for trouble, I'd rather have an AR, or a radio with an airplane on the other end.... ![]() Moon If B. Hussein gets his way, we may see a resurgence of the .45 as occurred during the first gun ban; many shooters opted for 7 big rounds rather than 10 smaller ones. I think the 1911 .45 Colt is certainly here to stay:
